When our son turned four we were looking for classes for him – soccer, swimming etc. He was super energetic and enthusiastic about movement and the teachers said that he must be enrolled in some sort of activities that he would enjoy. He would be bouncing of the walls and climb all over furniture and cartwheel in class. Around that time we chanced upon Vanarshala classes that were happening in Nirvana. It was new and sounded like a fun way to introduce exercise and discipline. We had no expectations save that he has fun and enjoys working with his energy. Right from the first class Parkour was a hit with Sautyajit- who took to it like a fish to water. There was so much to do ! As a parent it was great to see how exercising was tailored to all age groups and engaged them in different ways, according to each child’s capacity. It was a real find.Over the span of two years we saw our child improving smaller movements that helped him with larger movements and building confidence and enjoying the freedom that the sport gave him. He felt agile and strong. He was completely at home on the obstacles!!! The teachers were really excellent and talented – dedicated, kind, attentive completely focused and very patient. They would work with one child if that was the strength of the class and give their all, no cutting corners. The proof was – I remember that these were the years that Sautyajit was beginning to write and everyday he would write in his journal – and it would be about parkour and about his much loved teachers and about his classes. It’s completely worth it to invest in this for your child and see some real results. It’s not gymnastics- it trains the mind and works with the body. We wish team Vanarshala all the best in all their future endeavors. Cheers !

We used to watch children doing fitness classes in Palms and many a times my kids would get hooked and watch the kids jumping and leaping. As my little one is an outdoor fellow and I wanted to strengthen the elder one’s stamina, I decided to enroll them for the Vanarshala classes. Just wanted the kids to keep sticking on to a schedule and remain interested to continue for long. As far as the attitude of trainers goes, I intuitively knew that it would not be an issue, observing them train the other kids at Palms, their attitude was very sincere. I am glad that trainers are very sincere in the work they do. They engage with the kids well and observe each kid well, especially the younger kids (don’t know much about the elder classes). Also that the kids look forward to the classes and have made a nice bond with the trainer. Some way to adjust the lost sessions in between would be really appreciated. Although I know that I can always have a chat with the trainer and they are approachable and listen and understand these issues. I have two kids enrolled, so it takes a toll financially if the undone classes can’t get adjusted. Thanks for the understanding. It helps kids listen to instructions. It helps them connect with their body and become a master slowly in the movements of the body, makes them resilient. It also helps flexibility and is fun above all. It is a good channeling of energies for young kids. My two little ones have connected and bonded very well with their trainer and look forward to share their stories and experiences with me. With this comfort level with trainer, it is comparatively easy to communicate with them. Thanks for your love and connection .

My association with Vanarshala’s experienced trainers goes back to 2014 when Aman started the fitness classes at Palm Springs for the children and adults. I had moved to Gurgaon then having recovered from a ligament injury in my ankle. The injury restricted my movements and I couldn’t wear flip flops or heels. Three months into Aman’s classes and I forgot my injury and pain and felt so much fitter. My fitness journey with Aman continued while the other Vanarshala trainers continued to train the children at Palm Springs including my then 10 year old girl Shivi. Somewhere during the next two years, the adults class came to a halt and were replaced by another fitness group. Meanwhile, I resorted to hardcore strength training for my fitness. In three months, I ended up with an extremely bad back with weight loss as the byproduct.Eventually, in Nov 2017, I had to support my back with a belt and heavy dosage of painkillers. I was close to being bed-ridden. Two months into that state, I refused to accept my physical challenges and resorted back to Aman along with physiotherapy. Aman and Kriti’s training routine focused on the flexibility of each and every muscle and gradual strengthening of the weak muscles put be back on track. From being belt clad, in about 6 months, I was back to running. In Feb, 2019, I ran a full 10k marathon non-stop with almost no pain or trauma post run. The focus of Vanarshala is to help clients gain health and fitness by working on full body. My fitness journey is a testimony to this fact as I am aiming for a full-marathon in 2020. I owe it to them especially Aman with sincere gratitude. My daughter Shivi is a national level swimmer and Vanarshala’s training has contributed a lot to bring her to this league. The rigor of swimming training restricts her time with Varashala sessions but she manages to keep going back to them even if it’s once in a while now. Aman and his Vanarshala team are more like a family fitness specialist for us. I remember both my kids going to Aman Sir for advice on how to deal with their sports injuries and recovering.
